I recently returned from a 10-night stay at the Riu Palace Las Americas, and while the hotel is beautiful and pristine, it had its drawbacks. The staff were wonderful and attentive, making my experience enjoyable. though I felt some areas were overrun by a younger crowd, impacting my ability to relax by the pool. The buffet food was varied but became repetitive by the end of my stay, and the dining experience had a hiccup that raised some concerns about quality control. Overall, it was a gorgeous vacation, but I might seek a different atmosphere next time.

The rooms were comfortable and included a lovely terrace with sunbeds, but they suffered from dampness due to the humid climate.

The hotel's beachfront location was stunning, perfect for relaxing days by the sea, though the beach area felt a bit crowded at times.

Dining options were extensive, with a variety of delicious food available. However, one of my dining nights had an unfortunate mistake that detracted from the experience.

The facilities were great overall, with several dining options and a nice pool area, but I was disappointed that the outdoor bar became too lively for my taste.

The dining options were decent. While I enjoyed the steakhouse, I found the Italian restaurant to be a letdown. But the snacks at the lounge were great, especially the guacamole!

I had a beautiful stay at the RIU Palace Las Americas, where the hospitality was great and the location was stunning. I appreciated how clean the hotel was, but the dining options left something to be desired, as the food was mostly good but not very nice. Overall, I had a relaxing time, but a few issues, like the check-out experience, were disappointing.

My room was spacious and well-kept, but it had a musty smell, and the floors could have used a good mopping. The bed was comfortable, though the shower pressure was good, which I liked.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially the beach servers who worked hard to cater to my needs. I felt well taken care of for the most part, although the front desk service could be less stern.

The hotel’s location was superb, with easy access to beautiful beaches and Cancun's nightlife just a short walk away. The views of the blue waters were amazing every morning.
Dining

The dining options were decent with no reservations required, but the food did lack variety day-to-day, and the seafood was questionable at times. I found the buffet good but nothing that wowed me.

Facilities were solid with room service and all the essentials, but I didn't indulge in the spa. The common areas are well-maintained and comfortable.

My stay at Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas was fantastic from start to finish! I was pleasantly surprised by the free upgrade to an oceanview suite—what a view! The food options exceeded my expectations, especially the steakhouse and beach BBQ lunches. However, I found the entertainment not quite what I preferred. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for a relaxing getaway.

My stay at Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and I loved how clean everything was. The three stunning pools offered various atmospheres, and the beachfront was a beautiful spot to relax. However, the food variety could have been better at the buffet, and I had some issues finding available sun loungers by the main pool.
Rooms

The room was spacious and had a massive bathroom with a separate living area. The fully stocked mini-bar was a nice touch, but the thin walls made it hard to ignore noise from neighbors at times.

The location is perfect, just a short distance from the airport and easily walkable to the Cancun entertainment district. The beach area is small but offers soft sand and clear water to enjoy.
Dining

While the buffet had a good selection of food, it often felt repetitive, and the quality varied. I did enjoy dinners at some specialty restaurants, especially the Krystal.
Facilities

The hotel offered great facilities like 24-hour room service and multiple pools. However, loungers were a challenge to find during peak hours by the main pool.
