I recently returned from a 10-night stay at the Riu Palace Las Americas, and while the hotel is beautiful and pristine, it had its drawbacks. The staff were wonderful and attentive, making my experience enjoyable. though I felt some areas were overrun by a younger crowd, impacting my ability to relax by the pool. The buffet food was varied but became repetitive by the end of my stay, and the dining experience had a hiccup that raised some concerns about quality control. Overall, it was a gorgeous vacation, but I might seek a different atmosphere next time.

The food options exceeded my expectations, especially the steakhouse and beach BBQ lunches. However, I found the entertainment not quite what I preferred.
